History

The history of the Ski School

Our “Ski and Snowboard School 2000” has been founded in winter 1999/2000 thanks to the passion and perseverance of eight ski and snowboard instructors from Selva who wanted to teach the two activities with a programme based on quality!

Our ski school, composed by young and qualified ski instructors, is based on a high quality and individuality in programmes and services.

In 2000 we have become part of the exclusive “PRADA The Leading Skischools”. Of this group are taking part also the schools in St. Moritz (CH), Verbier (CH) and Cortina (ITA).

In 2005 we have started the “Snow Tribe” project together with “TIM TELECOM ITALIA”. Until now 14 schools have associated with this project.

The snowboard is the absolute protagonist of the year 2006. The brand leader of snowboard “BURTON” distinguishes us as the one and only snowboard school in Val Gardena, “BURTON LEARN TO RIDE”.

In December 2007 we have opened the second office of the school, approaching to our customers in Selva. At the same time the new “Yello’s lounge bar” makes its appearance as a meeting point for our instructors and clients.

In 2009 the Dolomites have become a UNESCO world heritage centre.

For the season 2009/2010 … the emotion continues…
